Rining WEI (Tony), PhD, teaches courses related to English language education and research methods at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, at the Department of Applied Linguistics, XJTLU, where he serves as Deputy Head of Department. He has supervised nearly 40 master’s and PhD dissertations to successful completion, which cover three areas: (1) English Education TESOL [Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages], (2) Bilingual Education Bilingualism (BEB), with a particular focus on individual differences (e.g., grit and resilience) in learning an additional language, and (3) English for Specific Purposes (ESP).Currently, Dr. Wei also serves as (1) Co-Editor-in-Chief for the International Journal of EAP: Research and Practice [published by the UK’s third oldest university press](https://www.liverpooluniversitypress.co.uk/journals/id/94/?flush=1) (2) Associate Editor The TESOL International Journal [Scopus-indexed] (https://www.tesol-international-journal.com/)To download Dr. Weis papers (free of charge), please visit his webpages at Academia.edu or ResearchGate.
